According to an eve-of-election poll, all of Canada's major political parties are held in about equal contempt with the Libs and Cons both at 32%, and the rest with a combined 35%. Let it be hoped that as the lies and humbug accumulate throughout the campaign, which no one will pay any attention to anyway as they are all thinking about the holiday, the unpopularity of the major parties continues to grow. Then, whoever is elected will know what we think of them and may show a certain moderation, hesitation even, in going about their normal business of swindling and deceiving us.
Alternatively, a Twin-Towers-style collapse in the remaining support for the major parties could bring the Greens to power: an excellent outcome provided that the Greens were to do as they have promised; namely, to abolish the income tax, and instead, impose taxes on energy use, toxic chemicals, tree cutting, sweatshop imports, junk mail, spam, big box retailers, and all the other things we don't want.
A Green government would immediately withdraw Canadian forces from Afghanistan and cancel the Liberal Government's insane order for long distance military transport planes. (Like, we really need the ability to project power at vast distances from our own shores.) Instead, they would buy every able-bodied Canadian male an AK 47 and train them to fight like the Mujahideen who in Afghanistan fought the Soviets to a standstill and in Iraq are in the process of fighting the U.S. to a standstill. No doubt the U.S. would appreciate this important Canadian contribution to continental security.
One other thing the Greens would surely do is follow the Russian Government's example and ban all foreign-funded lobby groups and religious and political entities. We don't want to see a "color" revolution in Canada, a Beaver Bloodbath, a Canuck Canniption, or a Maple Massacre, funded by George Soros and other agents of the NWO.
